WHOLESALE FUDGE

From Manufacturer To You!

We wholesale, business to business, our quality gourmet fudge
to retailers across Canada & the US.  Minimum order is one case.

wholesale gourmet fudge sold to Canadians retailersWelcome to our wholesale website. We have been making gourmet fudge since 1978 and our fudge is not a pan poured or mix recipe.  We use the old time honoured method of making our fudge. It is made from scratch using our European family recipe, then cooked in copper kettles and hand prepared on our stone marble tablesThis delivers a smooth, creamy textured fine taste! It is gourmet throughout but without the resort prices!  Many resorts offer their fudge with an "icing" type texture and a very sweet taste.  Our gourmet fudge has a medium smooth creamy texture that is not overly sweet.  A taste that will have your customers coming back for more! With "our expertise" we can offer a consistent quality gourmet fudge second to none.

Note: We ship to the USA.

Fudge is a consumable, fun exciting product. It will NOT take away sales from existing lines and merchandise, converting a large percentage of "just browsers" into profitable buyers. Whether a gift store, specialty confection, ice cream store, candy & chocolate shop, or if fudge is the only food item, it is a great addition and more importantly "it sells very well". To name some of our customers' business theme: gift shops, trading posts, village themes, chocolate & candy, craft, hardware and grocery stores, fruit orchards, interior decorations, flower, donut, gas station variety shops, fundraising and more. It makes a great "add-on" sale with high margins.

FRESH: The key to creating a strong 50%++ profit centre is to insure the customer is receiving a FRESH product. Every slice of fudge has a ‘best before before date label’ and is individually shrink wrapped. This indicates freshness to your customers and helps you – as retailers – maintain good rotation of your inventory. Customers APPRECIATE freshness. It comes through in taste and your integrity as a retailer.

Yes – Fudge does well with tourists.
Yes – Fudge does well as an impulse buy.
BUT – mainly regular customers develop quickly. People enjoy coming in – almost weekly – to get their ‘glass of milk’. Fresh.

It is well understood that Fudge helps get many operations through winter months when sales start to slow down. As Fudge is a comfort item – this profit centre is somewhat recession proof.

DON'T GET CAUGHT OFF GUARD: To achieve maximum sales we recommend to provide a good impulse location (close to cash register), maintain a clean, neat, attractive and "FULL" display. Display down to half? This is the time to reorder. Remember to rotate your stock. Maintaining this full display will achieve the best results. During slow times reduce display quantity.

We do not recommend you refrigerate or freeze the fudge as the risk of temperature spikes can cause instability and problems to the product. But when selling fudge you can tell your customers that they can refrigerate the fudge as it will be eaten quickly (we’re confident of this!).

GETTING STARTED: After viewing our site, if you have additional questions (ie; pricing, how long to receive your first order, etc.), or just wish to confirm/clarify some of the information, we recommend you call us directly, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Long distance? Use our toll-free line. We can help with your first order. Know what you want, complete the order form online, submit it or print then fax it. Orders received online from new customers will be called for confirmation. We are a small caring company, just a phone call away to help give that personal touch. We care for your success!

REORDERING: At the end of a busy week a fudge inventory may be taken and an order placed to replenish your stock. You may order 24/7, but recommended to be in by FRIDAY 12:01 PM, eastern time zone, including holiday Friday's for next week service. Orders received after the Friday 12:01 PM deadline may be placed on the following week's production schedule. We make to order to insure freshness. We do this every week, year round, for your convenience. We have two sizes, 42 flavours, with many options.  Minimum order is one case.

PLEASE NOTE: Some customers on the east/west coast or in remote areas require a little more time for shipping. Shipping is handled by Canpar, Canada Post or DHL. You may estimate your shipping costs at .20¢ (Ontario) to .40¢ (British Columbia) to .40¢ (USA) per slice. Multiple boxes can reduce freight down to as much as 50%. Single orders over 1000 pieces have to be scheduled, please allow an extra week, or call for details. Pick up orders are by appointment only. We are closed December 25 to January 1.

ASSISTANCE: Just a phone call away. On start-up, a package will be supplied, providing useful information on: fudge facts, display, pricing, zero product waste, placement of flavour signs and promotional techniques.

FUDGE CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Fudge has a 3-month shelf life.
2) Fudge has to be kept at a consistent 72°F / 22°C.
3) Fudge has to be kept out of direct sunlight.
4) Fudge Rotation – ‘older’ product should be sold first.
5) Unlabeled, tampered with or removed labels automatically void any customer claims.
6) The Manufacturer will not be responsible for environmental factors and handling issues that arise after items leave their Facility.
